Be dressed in readiness
It is so important to be ready & prepared! It is so important to learn to hear God’s voice & follow Him
Be ready to dream – Chuck used to call a dear elder brother, Gord, out of retirement. Gord was an inventor & invented many things – Called him out of retirement to employ people. We have some folks who have such skills & talents & we need to dream about how to help them to be productive
2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is God-breathed! It is so important to value God’s word!!
Some years ago, Dr Younger (a dentist) started a Monday night bible study for hippies! Dr Younger had such a love for the Word & planted that love for God’s Word into Chucks life
Another friend Daryl, who brought Chuck to Christ, lived the Word! Be encouraged to let God’s word become such a part of you that it just comes out in what ever you do.
It is often good to read the Word slowly – to read less of the Bible, but go deep, and enjoy every bite! Savor every mouthful!
Community is so important
Once Chuck and his family were in Prague eating a lamb dinner – he so enjoyed and savored every bite! That’s how he encourages us to savor and enjoy every bite of scripture!
In a recent zoom “Global call” for believers, brothers & sisters from all over the world, you could see such a richness – you can see men & women who are seeking to live the Word in the world!
Eg: Asher (from Israel) said, “We feel the problems of the world like everyone else, yet we feel this Light (of Yeshua, Jesus) on the inside that we want to share with everyone!”
Even in the middle of the storm (the mystery) we can open our eyes and raise a Hallelujah!
God wants to prepare us to hear His voice
God has prepared us for a *purpose*!
Like Queen Esther – who was called “for such a time as this”!!
It is now a whole different time – we were born for this hour!
Ephesians 2:10 – We are His workmanship, His Masterpiece, to do good works that He created beforehand that we should *Walk in them!!*
You have been born for such a time as this! The World will never be the same – because you were born!
You were born for a purpose! – His Purpose – Spend time in His Presence to find out what that is and to be prepared!
So many things happened during our recent time of Church Hospitability:
One observation: the amazing number of volunteers – even many volunteers from outside the Church!
Psalm 110:3 Your people shall be willing (be ready) on the day of your power!
Most often we don’t realize the impact our lives have other people
The Most Holy place
Matthew 27:51-54 At that moment the curtain as torn from top to bottom… (It was very heavy curtain… The Father performed such amazing events at the time of the Crucifixion of His Son.
Hebrews 9:1-10 – the 1st covenant was a “shadow” The blood that was sacrificed under the Old Testament was not able to clear the conscience of the worshipper.
Hebrews 9:11- So now Christ has become the High Priest
Hebrews 10:19-22 – so we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the Blood of Jesus!!
So, let’s enter into that relationship with the Father, go into the Holy Place, access the very throne room of the Father, through the Blood of Christ, spend time with the Father through Jesus, and *be prepared* for what He has prepared in advance for you to do!!
Fulfill His purpose for you!
For we have been saved for such a time as this!!
